Many people have already taken a hearing test. You hear tones that get quieter and quieter or spoken words that you are supposed to repeat. Michael Hahn’s work BUBBLES consists of an audio track and objects that are attached to the wall on a background that has the shape of a speech bubble. What becomes clear here is that the measurement of hearing ability pays little attention to the individual perception of the test subjects.
